Slow weekend

Last weekend was a chill weekend. Well…chill regarding going out, stressful regarding playing poker. Going out was ok, although I didn’t had as much fun as usual. It was the weekend of St. Patrick’s day, where Malta turns to Irish green for a day. A decent excuse for everyone to party for an extra day during the weekend. I didn’t go myself, but from what I’ve heard from the guys that went, it was ‘good craic’ as they would say in Ireland.
Weather wise it was pretty awesome so we used it to go for a walk and enjoy some early year sunshine. I really can’t wait for summer, winter times are depressing as always. The tourist are starting to drip in again and it’s getting slowly but steady busier everywhere (you don’t say), meaning the ticket proppers are harassing me again with their boat trips, cruises, bus excursions etc.  Funny how they can’t seem to get a grasp on the fact that saying ‘no thanks’ 7 times a day, 6 days a week actually mean that I don’t want to. Meh, maybe I will get a ticket one of these days and check out some other parts of the island. Seems like their persistence actually is getting the best of me after all.

The micro millions are playing at Pokerstars at the moment, which means investing a lot of time in the tournaments. This is mainly the reason for the lack of updates at the moment, since there’s not a lot happening from our side. The series will end this weekend so let’s hope the weather is good enough to go to the beach and I have my party mode switched on again.
